We have been integrating real-time social media streams and visualisations into our web trading app designs for a long time now as part of a balanced pre-trade stimulus package.
Adding this into the pre-trade mix can offer interesting possibilities for users, feeding their trading decisions to gauge real-time sentiment (shown below in a recent retail trading application).
