Quite a few large banks have rushed out iPhone trading apps over the past year, but Android has been relatively neglected.
Given that Android has, in an incredibly short time, become the world’s most popular smartphone, it’s not surprising that Android real-time trading apps are now appearing. But it’s a sign of the times that RBS has released its marketindex app (based on what was originally an ABN platform) on Android before the iPhone.
Looks like a nice, clean app. I wonder how much use it will get. Do people really trade while walking around?
