CEO of Caplin Systems. Previous lives have included pop music, TV production, and technology ventures ranging from high-performance hardware to software and consultancy. Paul founded Caplin in 2000 to develop Web solutions for the capital markets.

Patrick Myles
Chief Technology Officer at Caplin Systems. Pioneer of agile adoption at Caplin. Interested in new advances in web technology, clean code, UX, TDD, and anything that makes development more productive and rewarding.

Martin Tyler
Chief Software Architect at Caplin Systems for over 12 years. Designed and developed the core of Caplin’s technology stack, including Liberator. Has worked on nearly all of Caplin’s products in some capacity.

Paul Blank
My background is FX trading, etrading and ecommerce. Now as Director of eTrading Solutions and Partner Program at Caplin, my focus is ensuring our technology solves real-world problems for our clients across asset classes and client segments, and increasingly in relation to the evolving regulatory landscape.

Adam Hawley
Adam has worked in IT for over 18 years, and joined the board of Caplin System Ltd in 2000 as Technical Director; he is now the company’s Commercial Director. Adam previously worked for eight years at Logica on real-time banking systems in their products division. He helped build up their Middle-East operation in finance and start their UK internet division just prior to joining Caplin. Adam also holds a BSc in Mathematics from Imperial College and is an ARCS.

Scott McLeod
Scott has over 30 years’ experience in investment bank front and middle office through institutions such as Citi, Reuters, Instinet & ION. Scott & Paul Blank provide the majority of the commentary on, Caplin’s business blog. Scott’s experience is cross-asset and blends business and technical skills.

Daniel Owen
Following 8 years trading Fixed Income futures in the City, Daniel joined Caplin in 2011. His current role is as a technical consultant as well as a quality assurer for Caplin’s professional service projects.

Randy Hebert
Randy has worked in various trading and marketing roles in the FX and financial markets for over 20 years.  His experience includes appointments in Asia, Canada and the Middle East.  Currently based in Singapore, he joined Caplin in 2013 to expand the company presence in Asia.

Matthew Baxter
Matthew has been making complex information quick and simple to understand and use for nearly 30 years, on television, in print and online. Now, leading Caplin’s UX design team, Matthew is focused on ensuring Caplin products are appropriate, intuitive, fit for purpose and a pleasure to use.
